Hidden Danger

~ Robert Kiyosaki ~

I fought in the Vietnam War. I was a helicopter pilot and risked my life many times to complete the missions assigned to me and to assist others in their mission. In the military I learned some of the greatest lessons on leadership. And the military instilled in me the discipline I needed to be successful in life.

While I didn’t like the Vietnam War, I was proud to be a marine. And while I don’t always agree with how the current administration uses our military, I have a deep and profound respect for the men and women who serve our country.

This Sunday, a team of 79 US Commandos killed Osama Bin Laden in a valiant and dangerous mission. Thankfully none of our brave military members were killed, and thankfully Osama Bin Laden is now dead.

I applaud the military and the men and women who risked their lives for this mission. I’m proud to be counted among those who have served to protect America.

The world is safer with Bin Laden dead. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t dangers still out there. There are still terrorists. I’m thankful that our military will remain ever vigilant.

‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ Robert Kiyosaki Exposed – Part 1 of 3 Investigative Report

Rich Dad / Poor Dad Robert Kiyosaki is exposed in this investigative report. It clearly shows how Robert is merely a front for Russ Whitney and his Whitney Information Network. In this shocking 3 part video report you will see the outrageous and slimy techniques Mr. Kiyosaki’s instructors use in his training classes.

Robert basically admits that his classes are taught by instructors that use more than questionable practices and that he is not in control of his own training program. He looks like a very weak man in this report but don’t be fooled… he is making millions off of taking your money. He is fully aware of what is going on. You’ll find this truly shocking. Beware! Part 1 of 3. Watch them all. Again.. Shocking!!!

    Obstacle To Success: Short-term Thinking

In his book Games Indians Play, V Raghunathan writes about a farmer whose maize crop won top awards year after year. When a reporter asked the secret of his success, the farmer attributed it to the fact that he shared the seed with neighbours. Why, the reporter wondered, would the farmer want to share his seed when those neighbours where also competing with him for the prize?

The farmer’s reply was, “The wind picks up pollen from ripening maize and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbours grew inferior maize, cross-pollination would steadily degrade the quality of my crop. If I am to grow a good crop, I must help my neighbours do the same.

A lot of small business owners fail to act like this Indian farmer. By thinking of short-term benefits and looking out only for themselves, they fail to maximise on the abundant opportunities available to grow their businesses.

Can You Game Your Way to Entrepreneurial Success?

John Horn, a consultant with McKinsey & Co., thinks “war games” have much to offer business decision makers.

First, to be clear: Business war games don’t involve playing war. They’re analytical exercises that put a business through the paces of planning a strategic response to a worst-case scenario — anything from a devastating recession to the entrance of an aggressive competitor into the same market.

Admittedly, Horn makes his living in part by designing these war games. He thinks they can help us learn by simulating — albeit to a limited extent — real-world environments. The key to their effectiveness, however, lies in their design. There’s a difference between using a game to teach, and trying to learn from a game that’s designed to entertain.

Real Estate Gurus Promoting Other Guru Courses – a Scam?

I have to say that this is one of my pet peeves. What the heck is up with real estate gurus hawking tele-seminars, webinars, bootcamps, courses and seminars of other gurus? I mean really – don’t they make enough money selling us their own stuff?

It seems lately that I am getting more and more emails from well known “gurus” that are promoting someone else all together! I have to tell you that since I am in this business and have my own real estate club – I know exactly what they are up to and I think it stinks to high heaven.

It’s only about the money baby. It’s never about them caring about you so much that they “don’t want you to miss this opportunity to see/hear ‘their good friend’…blah blah blah.” That’s just malarkey! The biggest culprits of these shenanigans seem to be those who have the biggest rip-offs to sell. Yes – believe it or not there are gurus out there selling overpriced junk as “educational product”. There I said it! (I hope I don’t wake up with a horse head in my bed tomorrow.)

    The Massive Passive Income Problem

When I started investing in real estate in 2001 I had two main objectives: get my money working hard for me so I didn’t always have to work hard for my money AND create multiple streams of passive income.

income money treeHolding rental properties seemed like such a simple way to create passive income. Buy a house, put a tenant in there, and collect rent. Easy as making a pie. Or so I thought.

And, you know what? It actually is pretty simple. And it’s definitely enabled myself and my husband Dave to enjoy a lot more freedom than any job ever could. We are making money from our properties each and every month and each property grows our wealth a little (and sometimes a lot) each year. Once upon a time we would have said we are earning thousands of dollars each month in passive income, but we no longer do.

The problem with pursuing “passive income” is that you’re telling yourself you don’t have to do any work to make that money.
